Sublime. Il personale è fantastico ... ( Grazie Antonino ). Ambienti molto puliti. Una colazione da favola... ottima posizione. Grande professionalità e gentilezza di tutti. La proprietaria infinitamente squisita. Non riesco davvero a trovare la più piccola pecca.

Best hotel in Sorrento and close to everything, with excellent restaurants nearby and close to the beach, this was my first visit to Italy, and I'm really happy I chose the Maison Tofani Hotel, a lovely room with a very good air conditioner. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Thank you for everything and I hope to come back soon again. Grazie mille per tutto.

Maison Tofani feels more a B &B. They provided assistance with transportation & answered many questions once we made reservations there. Responses we prompt & easily understood (in English). From the moment we arrived, till we departed, we received much personal attention. We were greeted by Bianca & Gennaro who made us feel like family. Both Jose & Tony were a delight & helped with places to eat, luggage, directions etc. Breakfast was served by Francesco in an elegant dining room. FYI - The cappucino was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & are most appreciative of the care provided by all staff. Our room was spacious, clean with lovely decor. It's a beautifully restored 17th century building in the heart of the Sorrento historic district - convenient to everything. While there are steps leading upstairs, there is also an elevator. The rooftop was quite relaxing in the evening. We strongly recommend this lovely "hotel". Thanks to all for a wonderful stay. Fondest regards to all - S & R

If you're looking to travel around the Campania coast this hotel is one of the best to stay at. First, the breakfast they serve, while not to die for, is plenty for anyone looking to stay full until late lunch. It's served buffet-style with a wide selection of tasty food that can fit anyone's dietary needs. Second, the staff, and rooms are cozy and inviting. The staff (Tony e Franco) are willing to cater to your every need while you're there. The rooms are equipped with soft beds, fully functioning air-conditioning (very important during summer) and most importantly, sound-proof walls and windows to ensure you sleep soundly. Third, the hotel is extremely close to the action. While the soundproof walls prevent you from hearing anything, after exiting the hotel you're instantly surrounded by shops and tourists. From the shop and restaurant area the hotel is in the train station is only a ten-minute walk away making the hotel ideal for any family looking to travel around the Campania region.

…..Torneremo sicuramente!!!

When you first walk through the entrance of the hotel, you walk directly into a courtyard from the eighteenth century. It’s very quiet and soothing considering that the hotel is located in the heart of old town Sorrento. Off to the right of the courtyard is the reception area, a small nondescript room where we were met by Antonino (big Tony). He greeted us like we were old lost friends that haven’t seen each other in years. Extremely pleasant, gracious and very willing to do what ever necessary to make us happy. After check in, Antonino escorted us to our second-floor room. The room was very spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean with very high ceilings. The bathroom was also spotless and had a very unique water jet shower. The room had a balcony that overlooked the bustling street market below. After a busy day of sightseeing and touring, it was very pleasant to come back to the room and sit on the balcony and enjoy a glass wine and people watch. Once the doors were closed and the drapes drawn, noise from the street below was almost nonexistent. I should also add that the air conditioning worked extremely well. A great place to stay.

Situated right in the middle of Sorrento surrounded by shops and fantastic alleys. Peaceful. The rooftop terrace was amazing with beautiful views. Room spacious. Breakfast was different to chain run hotels and had amazing pastries and the scrambled eggs the best I've tasted.

We stayed at Maison Tofani for 6 nights. The staff, especially Antonio and Tony (the Manager), they was incredibly helpful. They had excellent recommendations for local activities and restaurants, and helped us find our way around. They also connected us with the best guide for a Path of the Gods hike, who really made that experience memorable. Maison Tofani's rooms were comfortable, and the bathroom shower tub was a Jacuzzi, which was very nice. The staff constantly cleaned/tidied our room, and never left us needing anything. The breakfast, as mentioned by the other guests on Trip Advisor, is amazing. Fresh fruit, vegetables, and delicious home made pastries every morning made this a great start to our day. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was great, and we'll be back!

Fabulous small hotel with a perfect location. Comfortable room, maintained to a good standard and great service throughout our stay.

Great Place, very nice room and fantastic staff. Spent 3 nights in Sorrento, The hotel sent a van to pick us up at the train station and then someone to help us to the hotel as vehicles can't get to the front of the hotel as the road is pedestrian only. It is in a great location where you walk to everything. Staff helped to book an excusrion doing the Amalfi Coast and were helpful about places to eat and shop. The breakfasts were included and the room outstanding. The food was devine and alot came from the personal gardens of the owners Maria. Francesco (the night security was very friendly and always got us anything we needed, after hours.) When in Sorrento, I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Pros: Great location, characterful rooms, excellent breakfast choice & the dining room had a wonderful painted ceiling dating back to the 18th century. Location: Located in the heart of the old town: Via San Cesareo, shops and restaurants close by - La Lanterna in the same ownership as hotel across the street. Welcoming and helpful staff who clearly cared that we had an enjoyable stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a small balcony overlooking the old narrow shopping street Via San Cesareo . Antonio and Antonino on reception and the gentleman who was there at breakfast were always there with a smile to make sure we were happy. The location was perfect for us with easy access to shops and restaurants and a short walk from the station and the port. Not the place to stay if you require lots of on site amenities or a are looking to sit and sunbathe - which we were not after. The hotel more than met our expectations, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will undoubtedly return.

No breakfast buffet on Earth equals the grand breakfast buffet of Maison Tofani in Sorrento. None. The dining room, the breadth of choice of edibles. Best! The hotel and Madame Tofani are charming, too. Winner!
